Laundry Friends - Terms of Service

Effective Date: Upon Pickup

Welcome to Laundry Friends! By using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Overview
Laundry Friends offers residential and commercial laundry services, including wash, dry, and fold, with free pickup and delivery in Pompano Beach, Deerfield, and North Lauderdale.

Our standard turnaround time is 24 to 36 hours. Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 12:00 PM. No pickups or deliveries are made on Sundays.

2. Customer Responsibilities

• Laundry must be placed outside or accessible at the scheduled pickup time.
   
• Please check all pockets for items such as pens, lighters, or electronics.
   
• Customers are responsible for providing special care instructions.
   
• We do not accept hazardous materials or laundry soiled with bodily fluids.
   

3. Liability Disclaimer
While we treat your items with care, Laundry Friends is not responsible for:

• Items damaged due to normal wash and dry cycles (e.g., shrinkage, fading)
   
• Items left in pockets
   
• Missing items due to inaccurate bag submissions
   

Maximum liability for any lost or damaged item is limited to ten times the service charge for the individual item, up to a total of $100 per order.

4. Lost or Damaged Items

• Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.
   
• Claims will be reviewed case-by-case; exact replacements are not guaranteed.
   
• Customers must provide proof of value and damage.
   

5. Pricing and Payment
Flat-rate pricing:

• Small Bag (up to 20 lbs): $34.99
   
• Medium Bag (up to 30 lbs): $49.99
   
• Large Bag (up to 50 lbs): $74.99
   

Payment is due at time of scheduling. We accept major credit/debit cards and offer secure online checkout.

6. First-Time Orders
New customers must place laundry in disposable bags:

• Small & Medium: 13-gallon white trash bag
   
• Large: 20–25 gallon black trash bag
   

Promo code "Order1" may be used for $5 off your first order. One-time use only.

7. Cancellations & Missed Pickups

• Orders may be canceled or rescheduled up to 2 hours before the scheduled time.
   
• Missed pickups may incur a $10 fee.
   
• If we are unable to access the pickup location, the order will be rescheduled.
   

8. Delivery Timeframes
Standard delivery occurs within 24 to 36 hours. Same-day delivery is available for qualifying orders placed before 12:00 PM, with a rush fee applied.

9. Privacy Policy
We collect customer data such as name, address, phone number, email, and payment information to process orders and communicate effectively. We do not sell or share your information with third parties. Please review our full Privacy Policy [link here].

10. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any customer for repeated cancellations, abusive behavior, or violation of our terms.

11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
